ITMediaLaw: Http3 on Litespeed Server

Even as an IT lawyer, you should probably move with the times. I have therefore completely freed ITMediaLaw from Apache and Nginx on the server and instead rely on the brand new Litespeed server. This has the advantage that browsers that already support Http/3 (or where support is enabled – like in Firefox’s nightlies) can now also retrieve the page completely over the new protocol HTTP/3, which runs completely as a UDP stream.

HTTP/3 is the third version of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol, formerly known as HTTP-over-QUIC. QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connections) was originally developed by Google and is the successor to HTTP/2. Companies like Google and Facebook have already used QUIC to speed up the web.

The page should load a lot faster, especially on mobile devices, despite my 1000+ blog posts.

So far I haven’t noticed any errors, but I will gladly accept feedback.

This step is necessary in order to be able to finally introduce some more functions in the future, such as the community and a client portal, whether I can directly conduct initial consultations and client meetings via video, but also provide documents and more. More on this soon in another update!
