IT/IP Law

As a lawyer specializing in IT/IP law, my focus is on contract drafting involving copyright, competition law and other intellectual property rights. My high level of specialization in these areas, combined with my personal interest in technical topics, helps me to create contracts on subjects that I myself enjoy and in which I have technical and content expertise.

I assist my clients in drafting agreements that protect their copyrights and intellectual property rights and ensure that their innovations and developments are not used unlawfully by others. I advise my clients on copyright law, patent law, trademark law and other industrial property rights.

As a specialist attorney for IT law, I also advise on the preparation of data protection declarations, IT security concepts and compliance with data protection regulations and IT security requirements. I help my clients to establish legally compliant IT structures and to develop data protection concepts that meet the legal requirements.

As part of my consulting services in the area of IT/IP law, I also provide support in drafting contracts with software manufacturers, IT service providers and other IT companies. I ensure that my clients act fairly and ethically and fulfill their legal obligations. I also advise on topics such as open source software licenses and the use of third-party source code.

I also advise my clients on the development of e-commerce solutions and online platforms and assist in the drafting of terms of use and general terms and conditions. In doing so, I pay attention to compliance with legal requirements such as consumer rights and competition law.

In the area of competition law, I support my clients in complying with legal requirements and advise them in defending themselves against warnings under competition law. I also assist in the enforcement of claims under competition law, for example in the prosecution of trademark infringement or unfair competition.

As an attorney specializing in IT/IP law, I also help review contracts and license agreements. I advise on the potential consequences of contract terms and ensure that my clients act fairly and ethically and meet their legal obligations.

I also work closely with other professionals, such as software developers, IT experts, and privacy officers, to ensure that my clients receive the best possible advice and support. Together, we help companies achieve their goals and meet their legal obligations.
