Outsourcing – for companies or law firms

Recently, I have been able to gain a lot of experience working for startups and other companies, on the one hand as a contact person for the legal department, and on the other hand as an in-house counsel for short-term needs, such as a pregnancy replacement. I can offer the special challenges that this type of cooperation with clients entails through a great deal of experience, a high degree of digitalization and the usual flexibility of a long-standing self-employed person. I am happy to pass on the experience I have gained as a supporter in legal departments over the past years.

In this case, I can offer clients attractive monthly packages or minimum flat rates that make it unnecessary to switch to large law firms or hire new people in the legal department as employees for a few months. In addition, working with me helps to promote the development and implementation of lean structures and optimized processes, because I personally find it very exciting to be involved in the optimization of legal know-how, strategy and process management.

In the context of such “legal outsourcing”, I make my legal resources, experience and contacts available and thus create flexibility for my clients/clients. In such a case, I guarantee a certain response time and an agreed availability for the internal contact persons. Budget and time expenditure can thus be planned, for large companies but also for smaller providers.

In doing so, I will work as digitally, as agilely and as flexibly as necessary. The use of internal resources, VPN and compliance with special TOM are a matter of course for me.

Legal outsourcing also lends itself to many standardized, frequently occurring or recurring legal issues, such as being the direct contact for a support department without having to delegate tasks to your own legal department. I can support clients in the areas of compliance, data protection, contract law, and commercial and corporate law, and can also acquire other colleagues with more specialized knowledge as needed.

Especially for startups this kind of cooperation is interesting, because in the initial phase there is no need for an own in-house lawyer, the budget for legal advice is planned and capped on a monthly basis and still the experience of me as a contract and IT lawyer can be relied on.

If you need a “Lawyer on Demand”, an “Interim Support” or simply a short term support for current needs in your legal department, please contact me. I have packages and offers for every need, even for only one month as a period, for example. However, I am also willing to talk about medium-term support and during the support period I will be happy to help you find and train a long-term member of your own legal department or build up the legal department as a whole.
