Interstate Broadcasting Treaty: Probably no gamer privilege for streamers!

In the wake of this report, I received the information that the privilege for gaming streamers (i.e. especially for streamers on Twitch and similar platforms) will no longer exist.
in the announced Interstate Treaty on Media (in the form of the then 23rd Amendment to the Interstate Treaty on Broadcasting).

t is currently completely unclear when the new version will be published and what exactly will be reformed.

Every streamer is therefore currently very well advised to apply for a broadcasting license. Otherwise, the cease-and-desist order will come shortly after a request from the state media authorities. Refusing or playing dead will get you nowhere. Playing for time is now no longer an option either.
