The knowledge base is online

Dear Readers,

I am pleased to announce today that the first version of the ITMediaLaw knowledge base is now online. This is part of the project I’ve been planning for the site here for the past few months, and it’s now getting started. However, it is important to clarify that this knowledge base is not a comprehensive encyclopedia and is not intended to replace other sources such as Wikipedia or specialized professional publications. There are also a few more people working on it 😉

Rather, the knowledge base was created with the goal of providing you with additional value when you read my 1100+ blog posts. You will find keywords and explanations that are specific to the topics I cover on ITMediaLaw.com. Thus, the knowledge base is highly focused and not designed to provide general coverage of IT law or related topics. Another important point is that the knowledge base is still in its early stages. This is version 1.0, the first output point, and it is clear that it will take a few more months to fill the knowledge base with relevant topics in a meaningful way. For a more detailed overview of what you can and cannot expect from the knowledge base, please see here.

In addition, the knowledge base serves as preparation for my planned paid user area and the community that will exist here in the future. That is, it is another building block in my effort to bring you added value on ITMediaLaw.com.

I will maintain and update the knowledge base regularly, always with the goal in mind to increase the thematic depth and the benefit for you as a reader.

In summary: Yes, the ITMediaLaw knowledge base is online. Yes, it will grow and evolve in the coming months. But no, it will not be the sole resource for all your IT law questions. It is an additional tool to make reading and understanding my blog posts easier.

With these words, I invite you to take a look at the new knowledge base and welcome your feedback.

Thank you for your support and interest in ITMediaLaw.com.
