Google changes privacy officer

For all operators of websites and apps that use Google services in any way, be it Analytics, Maps, ReCAPTCHA or other plugins on the website, for example to display YouTube videos, the inclusion of the exact circumstances of data processing in their own privacy policy is relevant.

It is important to note that the search engine giant, probably spurred on by the 50 million euro fine in France, has changed its data protection officer.

This now reads.

Google Ireland Limited

Gordon House, Barrow Street

Dublin, D04 E5W5, Dublin

Ireland

Since it is, among other things, the duty of the site operator to refer to the privacy statements of relevant third parties, and thus the own user must be given the opportunity to assert rights with third parties (e.g. through the use of Google Signin etc.), an update of the own privacy policy should also be made here. In the same breath, of course, I cleaned up my own privacy policy once.
