As a lawyer, you are constantly faced with the challenge of keeping pace with rapidly changing technologies. Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of these fields that is becoming increasingly important and has the potential to fundamentally change the way we practice law. In order to shed light on this topic, I have launched a series of monthly workshops that deal specifically with the application of AI in the day-to-day work of law firms.
The kick-off: A successful start
The first workshop in this series took place recently and was a complete success. It was an exciting opportunity to delve into the basics of AI together with the participants and explore its potential applications in the legal field. Due to the great interest and positive feedback, I have decided to continue this series with further, more in-depth workshops.
The next dates and topics
- Basic course on February 9, 2024 (5-7 p.m.): This course is aimed at anyone who would like to acquire basic knowledge of AI in the legal field. It offers a comprehensive overview and is ideal for beginners.
- Follow-up courses on February 14 and 16, 2024 (5-7 p.m. each day): These courses are intended for those who already have basic knowledge and would like to delve deeper into specific applications and issues. The number of participants is deliberately limited to 12 in order to enable an intensive, interactive exchange.
All courses take place via Microsoft Teams, which has proven to be an effective and interactive platform for such workshops. In addition, each participant receives the recordings and presentations of the meetings afterwards.
Long-term commitment and continuous learning
The special thing about this workshop series is that I plan to offer such courses on a monthly basis. This should enable lawyers to keep up to date and deepen their knowledge of the latest developments and applications of AI in the legal field.
