The past year was more than exciting and full of changes. A lot has changed, both privately and corporately.
In the middle of last year I was approached more and more by clients from the esports sector and so I decided to create a platform for this sector with my consulting company, Esports Consulting GmbH, which offers services and products to professionalize esports teams.
After many attempts and changes, the www.esport.biz platform finally launched in August of this year. Unfortunately, I have to admit that success was severely limited, as German e-sports teams in particular seem to be very reluctant to invest in professionalizing themselves in order to acquire contracts, consulting, professional sponsorship portfolios and the like. For this reason, I was unfortunately unable to help the platform achieve a positive result as expected.
However, the services we offered continued to be in demand and were offered by me as well. Drawing up player contracts, setting up company forms, helping with social security, negotiating sponsorship deals, and things like that. As I additionally received more and more requests from streamers, both on Youtube and Twitch, and was able to handle more and more mandates in these areas, I now decided to change the concept and combine both the legal advice for startups, gaming companies and streamers, as well as the business consulting through Esports Consulting GmbH, under one roof.
This is where the idea of IT Media Law.com was born.
On IT Media Law esports companies, streamers and other IT and media startups as well as freelancers from the mentioned areas will find all information about me as an IT and media lawyer, but also all services offered by Esports Consulting GmbH. At the same time, IT Media Law.com should and will not be a purely informational site, but will take advantage of the technical innovations we have created as part of the development of Esport.biz.
Thus, one can easily and with manageable payment options directly buy and download sample contracts, as well as request quotes and process them directly through IT Media Law.com. In the future, it will be possible to purchase various services as well as to pay a sum for short questions and services or to book a consultation via video chat.
Finally, I will use the restructuring to resume my blog activities, presenting news from IT and media law as well as from the esport and streaming business.
