Recently I wrote a few key points about what you might have to consider when signing a contract for a player transfer in esports.
However, I have noticed from feedback that there are also numerous other points of interest, especially to smaller teams.
So I would like to offer a webinar on the topic on Wednesday, 20/05/2020 at 18:00 to answer a few basic questions for founders or Esport organizations.
Due to the good quality and availability of many Esport players, the webinar will take place on my modest little Discord channel.
Here is the link: (https://discord.gg/cpQWCbA)!
Feel free to ask questions in this webinar/Q&A on all topics related to player transfers, including questions about employment law, social security law, commissions, consideration by the acquiring team but questions about liability.
In doing so, I will answer questions for both “sides”, both players who may want to transfer and teams who just wants to “sell” players. However, it is always only a matter of basic, general questions. For legal reasons, I cannot answer questions about individual one-off mandates in the context of such a Q&A/webinar. Rather, I would like to give teams and players the opportunity to understand the basic legal issues surrounding player transfers or the establishment of performance centers, which in turn would advance esports in Germany.
For this very reason, I would appreciate a lot of participation, which is why sharing is very helpful. Participation is absolutely free of charge!
