In line with the discussion about the DOSB and esports, it should be noted that esports in Germany will certainly continue to try to be subject to fixed rules. The Esport Bund Deutschland has adopted a code of conduct at its first regular general meeting in the run-up to the ESL Hamburg.
Even if this has of course no legal force and connects if at all only the 29 full members of the ESBD e.V., this is a first right step.
In the future also non-members could consider to enforce this codex e.g. for themselves and to include it in their player contracts. Of course, I will be happy to answer any questions.
