Based on the selection of legal news here on the blog, it should be apparent that I represent many, many Esports teams and players as a lawyer and consultant, in addition to streamers, influencers, game developers, and IT/e-commerce companies.
In doing so, I naturally take advantage of the fact that I can now call a wealth of legal experience on specific legal issues my own, but also that the industry itself appeals to me as an economic challenge.
This now seems to understand more and more other associations and so the GAME e.V. has published the “”game Fokus eSports”.
On just under 60 pages, the publication provides an overview of the status quo of Esports, its development in Germany and worldwide. Questions regarding the recognition of Esports in sports policy and current hurdles will be addressed as well as questions regarding the protection of minors. In interviews and guest articles by experts, the topic of Esports is also examined from a wide variety of perspectives.
The “game Fokus eSports” is available as a free download.
